The staff was nice and very helpful. No problems with communicating in English. Good breakfast made with local ingredients. Everything that you might need was included on the apartment.

Het Cala Bona y Mar Blava ligt op 100 meter van een beschut strand, in het historische centrum van de plaats Ciutadella in Menorca. Het hotel heeft een buitenzwembad met zonneterras. Dat het een bijzondere mooie locatie en verblijf was met zeer vriendelijk personeel!

Hotel ARTIEM Capri is just 500 meters from Mahon’s main shops and bars. Es Grau Beach is 8 km away and S’Albufera Nature Reserve is within 7 km. I loved the Green Lounge where free drinks and snacks (beer & wine, soft drinks, tea & coffee) were available (self service) until midnight. It gave a nice atmosphere to the hotel. I enjoyed reading a book, chilling there at the end of my day. The breakfast was lovely, with an "egg station" where eggs were made on the spot to your liking (the lady was lovely, a pleasure to see here every morning). Also, I checked out at 6.20am and the day before the lovely lady at reception offered breakfast to go, which was very handy. Make sure to ask the day before. The room was spacious, well thought and nothing beats Italian showers. The location was good for me - walking distance from the port and restaurants (Mahón is rather small). Also it is close to the airport (10min by bus - L10) which drops you at the bus station (3 min away from the hotel). The same bus station allows you to travel around the island if you didn't rent a car. It takes 1h to go to Ciutadella, on the other side of the island (50min with the Xpress bus).

Hotel Maïa bevindt zich in Ciutadella, op minder dan 1 km van Platja Gran, en biedt een terras, allergievrije kamers, en gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie. It is literally exceptional. An interior design is breathtaking - looks even better in reality than on photos. Warm and welcoming with energising colours. Bed linens and towels are of the highest quality. The hotel is sparking clean. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Isa - the manager - responds to an every single question or request you may have - 11 out of 10 :). Breakfast was wonderful - I would love to have a bit more vegetarian selection next time I visit Maia Hotel. It is a truly 4-star hotel (in Spain some of the 4-star hotels do not deserve it I have to admit) with some history and a modern touch in the heart of beautiful Ciutadella. I strongly recommend it!

El Consul Mao - Hotel Boutique bevindt zich in Maó, op 7 minuten lopen van haven van Mahon en 10 km van Es Grau. Great downtown location! Well equipped and great staff!

Hotel S'Antiga Adults Only heeft een buitenzwembad, een gedeelde lounge, een terras en een restaurant in Es Mercadal. De accommodatie ligt op 23 km van haven van Mahon en is voorzien van een bar. We loved this accomodation. It's in a cute little town and the accomodation was amazing. Breakfast was also amazing with local foods.

Meloussa Boutique Hotel ligt in Ciutadella, op 12 minuten lopen van Platja Gran, en biedt een terras, rookvrije kamers, en gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie. We had a truly wonderful stay at Meloussa Boutique Hotel ! The room is very quiet, clean, cozy and luminous. We felt very comfortable staying there - even on the one rainy afternoon we spent in the room watching Netflix. The bed is fairly large, very comfortable, and fills the room with a subtle smell of freshly cleaned sheets. The bathroom is bright, big enough for a big walk-in rainfall shower, and overall very practical. There is also good internet/wi-fi and an android TV with different streaming/video services. The hotel itself is clean and minimal, but still warm and tastefully decorated with lovely Mediterranean style. The breakfast is amazing: fresh coffee and orange juice with a large choice of sweet and savory toasts, from traditional pan con tomate to various local variations using Menorcan hams and cheeses, avocado toasts and Nutella/banana/coconut toast (they're all delicious, of course). We were glad to have stayed long enough to try (almost) all of them. The location is also perfect, in a quiet street right in the center of Ciutadella - which is perfect for sampling some of the best restaurants and bars in Menorca (we recommend Smoix and Aurora nearby). Finally, the staff is absolutely adorable and very helpful - and we would like to thank them again for making our stay that much better. I can't recommend this place enough, especially given their very reasonable price.
