Picking up the one key they had was easy, but there was supposed to be an access code which did not work. Overall the property is beautiful and super comfortable.

O Villas at Chalet De Buye é uma propriedade com churrasqueira localizada em Cabo Rojo, a 600 metros da Praia de Buye, a 19 km do Museu de Arte Sacra Porta Coeli e a 44 km da Floresta Seca de Guanica.... It was perfect for a beach holiday. The beach is just 8 min walk away (and that’s my slow walk, I timed it walking with a beach chair on my back!). There are other amazing beaches in driving distance for variety. The place is perfectly equipped for self-sufficient holiday - beach chairs, cooler box etc. There is everything you need for cooking - all functioning, everything thought about. It feels like a lot of thought has gone into practicalities - it really is super user friendly and handy. I had planned to stay a week but changed my plans and stayed an extra week instead of looking for other places to just “change the scene” - there is a lot accessible in the driving distance, it’s a good base for visiting Playa Sucia (30 min) or even Crash Boat Beach (a little over an hour drive). The customer service is impeccable. Whenever I needed anything, I always got a reply in less than an hour, including on a Sunday. Top marks for this place!

Oferecendo vista tranquila da rua, a casa maria é uma acomodação situada em La Romana, a 8,1 km do Teeth of the Dog e a 12 km do Dye Fore. Honestly everything was great. Maria is so sweet and she runs the place herself. She makes breakfast every morning and makes getting around for the day easy, just ask and she'll call up a motocoach or car. It's on the upper floor of her house (separate entrance up the stairs) and there's three rooms that are a great size with modern bathrooms, fans and A/C. The shared area is spacious and gorgeous, with a full kitchen, dining table and a nook with comfy chairs by the windows. It's in a residential area with a colmado on the corner if you need a quick snack or drink. All in all I think this was my favorite place I stayed at while in DR, and I wouldn't stay anywhere else in La Romana :). (Pics were taken after checkout but the linen and sheets were great as well!)
