Decoration was stunning, the owners are very kind, and took their time to show us around. you get your own 4 walls, own entrance and parking, so it feels very private. there’s some original furnitures from the 50s and 60s, still working to this day!! you won’t regret staying here while in Bakersfield!

They had a great breakfast where they asked what you would like and then made it for you. They were farm fresh eggs right from the property. They were so hospitable and gave so many good ideas to do in the National parks there. We could not have been made more welcome. They had a small acreage with some chickens, emus, turkeys, goats etc. plus a nice coy pond. They did have a nice swimming pool but we decided not to use it but instead spent time at the nice lounge by the pool talking and sharing. It was by far the nicest most hospitable place we went the whole holiday. We will definitely go there again when we return to the area. It is very close to the two national parks and they are so good to give extra advice.

I loved this location right next to campus and the convenience of parking my car in the garage so that I could easily travel on foot. The fact that everything had a code made it really easy to enter the garage, yard and apartment. The little kitchen was perfect - it had everything I needed. Really appreciate there was a stove top in addition to the microwave.
