A good location for a stress-free stay in Solčava, Hiša Ojstrica is a bed and breakfast surrounded by views of the garden. This charming guest house is situated in the most spectacular spot in the valley. Our hostess, Barbara, was very welcoming and we were upgraded to the suite on the top floor which was very spacious with a living room and a separate bedroom on a mezzanine. The bed was the most comfortable I've slept on in our 2 month journey around Europe. The breakfast which cost 12 euro pp was excellent and well worth the money, and we ended up having dinner in the restaurant both nights as the food was very, very good, the wine and beer list extensive and there was a choice of menu of the day or al a carte, both good value.

The location is excellent — so peaceful and quiet and beautiful. Our room was very roomy and comfortable, with great views and a sunny deck for relaxing. internet was very good, too. The Majerhold family who run it are really friendly and helpful.

An excellent accommodation, rooms equipped with everything you need for a successful stay. The kitchen is fully equipped so you only need to take food. Kala the puppy welcomes you every time and is always ready to play. The owners are very nice and attentive, I bought fresh eggs for 2.5 euros (10 pcs). Go and you won't regret it. Note 10.
