Located in Kinigi, Kinigi Cottage provides a garden, bar and barbecue facilities. The property features mountain and garden views. Staff, management (Angel) and co-owner (Joachim) go out of their way to meet the needs of their guests. They arranged transport for me to the Park, provided very good travel advice and tips. Meals were excellent. Also, on the morning of my departure, they took extra steps to make sure that my ride arrived at the correct location.

Lots of fresh fruit. Friendly hosts, fast kitchen and tasty dishes. Rooms were spotless with modern fixtures. Highly recommend - slightly outside Musanze town, and therefore much quieter than some of the other go-to affordable inns.

If you are okay with rustic accommodations, this is the place for you! Michael is awesome. He runs one of the only Rwandan-owned safari companies and is a wealth of knowledge, character, and kindness.
