It is mega important as it gets really hot in rainy season. You can get breakfast for 12 soles, showers has only cold water, but that is okay as it was really hot, but keep in mind that I was during the rainy season, in dry season temperature can drop by like 10 degrees celsius. For my surprise I slept pretty good despite the hotness. The place is quite artsy, they have hammocks, books, it is really beautiful, everything is made mostly out of wood, which I liked.

Featuring a vegetarian restaurant, Kapievi Ecovillage offers accommodations in Puerto Maldonado. The property is a 15-minute car ride from the city's main square. Everything! Anthony is really nice with his guests, he takes care of everything. The room we got was a King room and it was perfect! We went on two tours with the tourist operator they work with and we had a blast! We also have to give a big compliment to the resort’s chef, the food was excellent! We had all the meals right at the resort and we would do the same again! Also we were able to use the pool, which was really nice.

It was very nice, we could even take Elmars motorbicycle to drive to the city, they prepared a nice breakfast and provides us with everything we needed. We loved the pool, the jungle and animals around and we loved little Toby :-)

I really enjoyed my two-weeks stay at Rosa's house ! :D Rosa and Elvis are beautiful people, very kind and friendly ! Kira and Kuka, the two dogs, are very friendly and affectionate too ^^ It's a peaceful place, surrounded by nature, the perfect location to relax, rest and meditate or going on adventures in the jungle. Rosa's house is at walking distance from the centre of Puerto Maldonado (about 1 hour) but if you don't want to walk, you can take a tuktuk or a mototaxi passing by. I highly recommend this place !

The property was absolutely gorgeous, the room, clean and comfortable, the staff were so so friendly, and went out of their way to make you feel very comfortable. It was an amazing accommodation!!

Located a 15-minute drive from the bus terminal, Passiflora Camp offers accommodations in Puerto Maldonado. A complimentary Continental breakfast is served daily. Beautiful property, very calm. Great breakfast with fresh juice. Lots of fruit trees.

Tambopata Hostel is located in Puerto Maldonado. An American breakfast and free WiFi access are provided. This hostel was in a safe location, and only a few blocks from the main square.
