Situated in Bidiyah in the Al Sharqiyah region, Rashid Desert Private Camp has a balcony. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. I had this place and a couple others camps down to the wire, on which place I should stay at, in the end I chose this place. Once experiencing it I was happy with my decision. You get a more private experience at this place compared to others as there are are less tents and people, this goes a long way and you won't see this in the description or know this until you are there. Rashid goes out of his way to make your stay very enjoyable, like a true Omani. The other bonus that this place has over others is that its at the top of some of the highest dunes you can stay at; which is good because their is less dune climbing for you. PLUS driving up to the tents is so much fun in the rental (its not hard, just keep your momentum). Dune bashing was amazing and same with the camel ride. Thanks again Rashid.

Situated in Bidiyah, SandGlass Camp features accommodation with seating area. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. Amazing experience! We had a great stay. Tents were cozy, dinner was great and Said was the most hospitable host. Aboslutely recommended :)

Nomadic Desert Camp is set in Al Wāşil. There is free private parking and the property offers paid airport shuttle service. Towels and bed linen are featured in the luxury tent. Authentic night in the desert, with all needed. Fun drive in the dunes, back just in time for sunset. blissful evening, slept so well. recommended escape!

Sultan Private Desert Camp is situated in Bidiyah. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. Lovely, peaceful location way from the other camps, small setting and lovely people. We really enjoyed the ride there and the visits to the animals, the tour through the desert in the morning and the kids loved the short camel ride. Stars, sand and serenity. Lovely guide.

This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. group of two families with infants, really good and nice place. food was amazing and a lot of food for dinner and breakfast (mm, pancakes were delicious) really kind host! ❤️ if we return to Oman we’ll stay here again.

Located in Shāhiq in the Al Sharqiyah region, Crescent Desert Private Camp provides accommodation with free private parking. This luxury tent offers a terrace. Very different and adventurous stay when travelling in Oman. Nice equipped camp has everything you need except for wifi and power in the sockets for charging your phone. But you can enjoy sunset from a swing, night sky, sit for hours by the fire and wake up with the newborn sun over the dunes (if you want to). We had a pretty amazing later afternoon and night in the camp, I absolutely recommend

Situated in Al Ḩadd, 2.2 km from Al Hadd Beach, Ras Al Hadd Orchid features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and express check-in and check-out. Very humble employees, extremely kind and generous. If asked if you would like dinner-go for it. Very knowledgeable of the surrounding beautiful places to visit. Owner is a true gentleman, thank you for all.

Set in Al Wāşil in the Al Sharqiyah region, Hamood desert local camp has a balcony and mountain views. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. We stay 2 nights in the Ahmed desert camp and we really enjoyed it. Before our arrival he sent to us a lot of offered activities, so we choose - dune bashing (amazing), camel ride (great) and one day trip to desert with lunch (amazing). Ahmed is is a perfect host, which takes a full care about his guest. Meals (breakfasts, lunch and dinners) prepared by his chef were very delicious. In the evening we had a camp fire, with stars quiz and experience :-). I can fully recommend this desert camp if you want a memorable and traditional Omani experience.

Located 50 km from Wadi Bin Khalid, SAFARI-Glamping offers accommodation in Bidiyah-20 kms inside the desert from the village Al Hawaiyah. Our experience at Safari Glamping was really amazing. We tried a lot of delicious traditional food, rented quad bike from a nearby camp, which is owned by the same person, and he invited us for a dinner at this bigger camp, where we had the opportunity to speak with him about his life as a beduin. The host in our camp was really nice and helpful, prepared fire and a really good food for us and as we were lucky to be alone there, we had a chance to speak with him. The room was really clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. We drove to the camp by our 4WD car and it was simple and without any problem. You just need to have your tires deflated beforehand. 100% recommended experience worth the money.
