The location is very good, between Thamel and Durbar Square, and the owners are extremely nice, smiley and available to make your stay as great as possible. The rooms are spacious and delightly decorated, with great taste and care. Plus the price is low for this quality and it is very calm in the noisy city. We would not go to any other place if we come back to Kathmandu.

A traditional building in the center of historical Bhaktapur. The staff was so attentive and always present. Breakfast was great. I loved the feel of the hotel.

This apartment is clean, has a central location and has great facilities with warm shower. The host, Sudarshan, is amazing and made us feel so welcome and even checked in with us during our stay to make sure everything was okay and if he could help us with anything. What a place! Would highly recommend to anyone wishing to stay in Kathmandu!!!

The best thing about Hotel Vintage Home is the super cool staff that run this hotel. They speak excellent English and addressed me by my name and provided a relaxing, fun environment for my 2 night stay in chilled out Bhaktapur. Breakfast up on the rooftop is fantastic, the hotel's location is bang on perfect surrounded by medieval structures and cheap eateries. The building and rooms are clean, high spec and solid. Shower with piping hit water was brilliant. Entry to the city now costs 1800 NPR for foreigners, make sure you tell the ticket office at the time of purchase that you are staying overnight or longer and they will write an extension on the back of the ticket with your passport number. All over one of my favourite stays in Nepal in 3 visits over 15 years.

Very good place to stay in Kathmandu. Quiet, clean, modern rooms, close to Thamel, with very friendly and very helpful owners! If I'm in Kathmandu I'll stay here again!
