The roads are twisty and a little hard to navigate, but we were only a five-minute walk from one beautiful hike and a thirty-minute drive from one of the entrances to the Shouf Preserve. When we arrived, the hosts gave us tea and cake on the balcony. We would have eaten all our meals out there if we could have, but it was a little chilly! They made us dinner and breakfast, both fantastic, with food from their own garden. They were very patient with me when I tried to speak Arabic. They were kind and attentive, and generous-- they gave us fresh fruit and homemade jam for the road! I'd definitely recommend this guesthouse.
