However, this was not an issue at all for us, the food on site is incredible, probably better than anywhere else on the island. Lonely beach is close by which you can either walk to or rent a Kayak/Bike to get there. There are the cutest dogs there as well which is a big bonus.

Clodagh, Lorne and Matty and the rest of the outstanding staff were welcoming and made our stay a delight! They were excellent at suggesting activity ideas and helping us to make them happen (arranging a Tuk Tuk to take us to Khmer NY celebrations, massages, nice places to see on the island, etc). The food and drinks at the restaurant are abundant and delicious! The rooms are very comfortable (best beds we’ve slept in all if Cambodia) and exquisitely decorated! The entire resort is extremely well maintained including the pool area and spectacular beach out front. We could tell that much care and hard work is put into the upkeep of this wonderful piece of Heaven on Earth! The resort is a short and easy scooter ride to a nearby busier village which was great, and the resort has scooters on site for rent making it very convenient for guests. There is minimal traffic to contend with which made travel by scooter easy and enjoyable! We would highly recommend the Golden Beach Resort to friends and family! A HUGE thanks to all of the exceptional staff…we will be back!

This beachfront property offers access to darts. Guests can access the guest house via private entrance. Everything at Bongs is wonderful! I planed to stay for four nights and extended to seven. It is a great location with an amazing view of the bay, the rooms are in good condition and have shelving/storage/locked cabinet, and the food at the restaurant is delicious. I ate at least one meal there every day and loved everything, especially the homemade bread. The staff is very friendly and helpful with answering questions.
