Very responsive to messages. From the moment I arrived this family greeted me with great warmth & professionalism. The room was lovely & very clean. There was always someone around to help with any questions or help planning a trip. The WiFi was very good. The water had good pressure & heat. I slept so well here, the bed was comfortable. I specifically chose this place over staying in the center of town which is only a 15 minute walk or 4 minute Tuk Tuk ride away because I have been told how loud the center is at night. I made the right choice. Peace & quiet at night & surrounded by a beautiful family. Thank you so much for everything 🙏

Family Batcave Homestay อยู่ห่างจาก Killing Caves of Phnom Sampeau 1.2 กม. Wonderful local family who open up their home to travellers. Experience an authentic semi-rural environment. Our host (Saro) took us on a tour to the Killing Cave (horrific history), temple & bat cave (highly informative and eye-opening). Saro had very good English. It was very hot weather when we stayed (40 degrees) - there is only an overhead fan. Don’t expect your normal creature comforts (no a/c). Lovely balcony and hammock to rest in. A very welcoming family - we shared a tasty evening meal. Saro was very helpful in organising our tuk tuks.

Bun Homestay ตั้งอยู่ในพระตะบอง ห่างจาก Colonial Buildings 1.7 กม. และห่างจาก Battambang Museum 1.8 กม. Amazing homestay! Bun and his family are so welcoming and our room was so spacious and clean! The breakfast each morning was amazing and there is also coffee/tea facility in the room and a kitchen facility guests can use. We booked a tuk tuk tour with Bun’s colleague which was brilliant. Our driver was so kind and friendly. Bun even invited us to join him and his friends for a few beers on our last night.

My grown-up son and I spent five unforgettable days with Phirum’s family. The family completely included us in their life and we became friends in this short time. They offer way more than any guesthouse would. The sweet Khmer bananas from their garden, the delicious homemade meals, the walks in the countryside - it all adds up to an unforgettable experience. I can still hear the hum of cicadas in the evening as I write this review. The rooms were as described, nothing flashy, but super clean and comfortable. Aircon in my son’s room was excellent and the fans in the bamboo hut made it nice and cool. Most importantly, in their home you will see how ordinary people live their lives, and the family give a great example of hospitality and resourcefulness. At first I was unsure about how we’d deal with the distance from city centre, but that was absolutely no problem. It’s only 15 mins away by tuktuk, and Phirum helped to negotiate local rate with the driver ($3). Also we spent a lot of time exploring the neighbourhood. A beautiful 30-minute walk takes you to the local Buddhist monastery and a smart restaurant with a lovely view, especially at sunset. I hope that you will come and stay with Phirum to discover real Cambodia for yourself.

O ' hamok family ตั้งอยู่ในพระตะบอง โดยอยู่ห่างจาก Bamboo Train Battambang 2.2 กม. และอยู่ห่างจาก Battambang Museum 2.8 กม. Nice family homestay in a quiet and green area. The hosts are absolutely lovely !! They can arrange bus commute for you to your next destination which is very convenient. They allowed us to take an extra shower before taking our sleeping bus the night after we stayed at their place. But the best part was booking a day trip with Sarom (host) to visit Battambang and its countryside, learn about the Khmer culture and the genocide, taste some local specialties. Unforgettable moments of discovery !!
