The property is a 8-minute walk from Takayama Nohi Bus Centre, where guests can take a bus to Shirakawa Village. Lovely staff and very clean property. We stayed in the dorm room and it was spacious and the facilities were all very well kept. Quick walk to the train/bus station and lots of restaurants and shop also a short walk away

The staff were amazing and extremely friendly! The rooms are spacious and while a bit dated, they are clean and very cozy. Being able to book a private hot bath was also very welcome. It is only a few minutes away from the Train/Bus station, but as soon as you enter the domain of the hotel, it feels as if you step from the city straight into an Onsen town. Unfortunately we only stayed for one night.

LOVE EVERYTHING! Had a perfect stay in Miyama Ouan. From the staff,food,onsen and so on. It was a long drive from Kyoto to Takayama and when the bus arrived from the last station the free shuttle for pick-up is already there waiting for us, probably due to heavy snowfall at that time, THANK YOU! the resort is just a 5-10mins walk from the station but its impossible with all the snow. All the staff are kind and accommodating, they always make sure that your stay is comfortable and pleasant. Love their Yakuta, they let you chose which design you like. The room is spacious ,clean and the view from the bath is great. the onsen is perfect with a bit of snow falling . the view from the restaurant every breakfast is unparalleled. Thank you Miyama for giving me an unforgettable winter experience. Will definitely come back again!

The air-conditioned accommodation is 49 km from Gero Station. The property is non-smoking and is located 600 metres from Fuji Folk Museum. Loved the location, comfort, balcony, and the fact that there was a parking spot. Though I never met the host in person, they were very quick to respond to questions and helped us with luggage forwarding to this location. I enjoyed my breakfast on the balcony and also watched a parade go by from up there.
