Kirkjufell Guesthouse and Apartments menawarkan penginapan di Grundarfjordur. I cannot say enough good things about this place! We got upgraded to a full apartment when we arrived and the owner was kind enough to visit us and ask us about our stay. I must say I felt very welcomed and the facilities were incredible. The place is very well located and it is the perfect spot to stay. Would surely repeat if I have the chance.

It is very well equipped and there was even a supply of basics (oil, pasta, etc) that I assume had been left behind by other renters. There were a couple of restaurants and a supermarket within walking distance. Highly recommended.

The tractor theme and the story behind in (including the cowshed) are a highlight! The breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and nearby coastline from my room were simply awe-inspiring. The breakfast, featuring a delightful array of local and homemade delicacies, was a true feast for the taste buds. (Especially the homeade jam!) The use of fresh, locally sourced ingredients added an extra touch of authenticity to the dining experience, making it a perfect start to the day. Beyond the physical aspects of the guest house, the staff's extensive knowledge of the local area and their genuine passion for sharing Iceland's rich history and culture truly sets Drangar Guest House apart. Their recommendations for nearby attractions, hidden gems, and off-the-beaten-path experiences allowed me and my husband to explore Iceland in a truly authentic way, creating memories that will last a lifetime. We would love to back in the winter!

Guesthouse 43 terletak di Grundarfjordur dan mempunyai taman. Tetamu boleh menikmati pemandangan gunung. A great house for the money. It is clean, there are enough dining places in the living room, a spacious kitchen, many toilets and showers. Very nice hostess, everything is provided for children. I was pleased that there was a protective fence for the stairs and toys for different ages. Opposite the house there is a shop where you can buy everything you need. A very big plus is that there is a washing machine.
