This family-run property is 400 metres off Route 1 and 15 km from Selfoss. It offers free Wi-Fi and a terrace. Homemade bread, jam and pastries are served for breakfast. The hosts were amazing. This was my first guesthouse experience and it exceeded my expectations. We got there and it was already dark. We noticed that the northern lights could be out and the hosts did whatever they could to help us see them. It was great! We were the only 2 people booked for the night but when we woke up there was this massive and delicious breakfast. I was astounded by all the different kinds of food they offered. I would stay here all nights if we weren’t going to drive around Iceland.

Valhalla Yurts Odin je objekat sa besplatnim WiFi internetom i pogledom na planinu, smešten u gradu Selfos. Wonderfully designed and outfitted. The yurt was amazing. Rick (the host) was very friendly and super helpful. The yurt had all the amenities needed. The shared washroom was immaculate and very well equipped. The workmanship for both the yurt and the washroom was also amazing. So many exceptional details. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Comfortable bed that helped us overcom e jet lag, a wonderful and gracious host, a delicious breakfast spread with excellent coffee, all set in a fantastic quiet location close to a few cafes and restaurants... Excellent place for any traveler. What else can we say? Next time we are in town, which we hope to be soon, we hope Sigga's will be available!
