On Sunday I got a text from Condor stating Monday's boat was cancelled due to weather. At the time I was at the Premier Inn - and after enquiring and finding out they wanted another £100 for 1 night, I checked booking.com for availability elsewhere - and this popped up for £38 a night. I worked on the road in the UK and have stayed at A LOT of hotels and BnB's in my time - so was only really after a place to put my head down. Genuinely - probably the best £38 I've ever spent. Colin is an absolute delight and will happily ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible. The rooms are very clean, with TV's, a kettle, fridge and microwave. Proximity to a local Waitrose, pub and a great fish and shop is perfect AND breakfast was included! Two whole kippers, a jug of coffee, toast and marmalade! Honestly - there's a reason this place comes so highly reviewed. Will happily be stranded in Guernsey again if I get to stay here!

Very nice newly renovated appartment and very comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped. After booking we received a link to an internal guestbook with great information and tipps. Bus station is directly in front of the house.

Le Douit Farm Self Catering is situated in the Parish of St. Martin, a field away from St. Martin's Parish Church. St. Peter Port town centre and harbour are 2 km from the property. Housekeeper available if any problems. Easy to reach from airport. Quiet. Everything there you needed during stay. Clean and comfortable.

Offering free WiFi and a garden, Ilex Lodge is situated in Guernsey. Free private parking is available on site. All units include a flat-screen TV. My husband, my elderly mother and I had a fantastic week at Ilex Lodge. The apartment was spotlessly clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The beds and bedding were so comfortable, and everything we needed was there for us. There were even lovely touches such as a loaf of local raisin bread and a bunch of fresh local flowers that made me smile. The lodge is in lovely gardens and I really appreciated the trees, birdsong and flowers just outside the windows. It is an easy, pleasant walk into the heart of St Peter Port and the harbour, so Ilex Lodge is in a fantastic location, close to town, but quiet and peaceful. The three of us arrived exhausted and desperately in need of a holiday, and left rejuvenated and recovered. It was exactly the holiday we needed. Thank you so much.

Located in St Peter Port, the capital of Guernsey, The Albany Apartments offer self-catering accommodation that features free WiFi, free on-site parking and an outdoor pool. We were a party of 4 adults staying here for 10 nights in June. The apartment was perfect for us, each couple had their own bedroom with en-suite shower room. It was very comfortable & had everything we needed for a very comfortable home from home stay, a separate kitchen plus a lounge/diner with TV. We were blessed with great weather & made full use of the balcony & the lovely heated pool. It was a bonus to have pool & beach towels provided. Although we walked to the centre of town most days we made use of the bus service on our return as it was quite a climb, saying that though the bus stop was only a couple of minutes from the property. Tracey kindly gave us each a Puffin card which we loaded with credit on the bus & for 75p per person per trip were able to get around the island very easily from that bus stop.

Just a 6-minute drive to the town of St Peter Port, and walking distance to Guernsey’s south-coast bays and cliffs, The Ellingham Cottages has 12 two and three-bedroom holiday cottages. Close to the beauty spots in the south of the island. Cottages were clean and comfortable. Cottages were very quiet.

Situated 10 minutes' walk from St. Peter Port town centre, Marton Guest House features terraced woodland gardens for guests to relax in. This is the little sister accommodation to Pandora Hotel, which is down the road. We were able to park at Pandora and dine there anytime. Having stayed in both, Pandora and Marton, I have to say that we preferred Marton Guest House even. The breakfast was better, the management was lovely and the whole feeling was a bit more personal. In short: This is the place we'd stay in on any future stay on Guernsey. It's just spot on.

Situated in Castel, in a historic building, 1.2 km from Cobo Beach, The Lodge - Studio Apartment's is an apartment with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and garden. Very comfortable, had everything we needed and more! Great big bathroom with good shower. Nice patio
