Amazing quiet and private location, right on the beach in the rainforest. Yasmin facilitated our travel into town, out for dinner and to attractions making everything run smoothly and we were able to see a lot of Savusavu and do a lot of activities.

Sunrise is in the beach right in fornt of the homestay, so wake up early and don’t miss it!! Forget about resort comodities, this is the real Fijian experience!!

The village people are very welcoming and super nice. Lots of „Bula!“ wherever you see someone. The kids a curious and happy to show you around. The water is superb for swimming and playing around in. We loved the different dog characters hanging out at the beach - all very friendly. You pay your „entrance“ fee and that‘s it, you are guests of the community instead of feeling like customers - the concept works really well and seems fair for everyone. It is simple, as that‘s what village life in the Yasawas is, but if you‘re somewhat open minded and up for trading some less comfort for having a unique and closer-to-authentic experience then this is for you. The hike up to the ridgeline in the early morning was fantastic. Amazing views and some village children and dogs as good company. We just loved it!

Sigasiga Sands Boutique Bungalows located in Savusavu features ocean views, 3 lounge areas with hammocks and canopies, free WiFi and free private parking. I loved everything about the place. Beach was 50 meters away. Great food. Decent Internet access. Friendly staff. Price was perfect. The fan was enough for me (no AC). Pictures provided are exactly what is there.
