It is a very good place, if you look for an authentic village. It is managed by the local women association, and it is managed well. All is clean and well-kept. Good local food. The village is very quiet. The view is spectacular and the sunsets are idyllic. The village nightlife concentrates around a shop run by Antonio and it is a good place to meet the villagers. Very nice, family owned, place to stay. Good location for the main trails (cova and xoxo). Shops and restaurant are very close. New building, comfortable room. You wake up early with the light and noise, but this is normal everywhere in the island and is good to start your walk on time ;) Breakfast is great, every morning a different option. Great to start the day. João is a very friendly host, who will help you arrange and plan everything you need, we will be back!

We stayed in the seaside view studio and the view was really fantastic, plus we could see the sunset straight from our sofa ! The studio overall was very comfortable, with all necessary amenities, very clean. Really kind staff, Guillaume (the owner) was also there and shared with us a lot of great hike suggestions! Breakfast was simple, but more than enough for us, very very tasty and home made.

Casa Das Ilhas is located in Paul. All rooms includes a private bathroom fitted with a shower. You can enjoy mountain view from the rooms. At Casa Das Ilhas you will find a garden and a terrace. An incredible host who runs the place from the genuine love for it! And she does excellent! Its not only all the languages she speaks but also the kindness and willingness to support in every sense of it. You will feel save and well taken care of! The meals are homemade, the bed really comfy and hot water always available (unusual in the area but much needed)

Offering a restaurant, Casa Cavoquinho is located in Paul Valley, in Cabo de Ribeira. Free Wi-Fi access is available. Rooms here will provide you with a balcony and a terrace. View from the Hotel is amazing. And it is really nice to get nice hot shower and tasty meal after day of hiking. I can truly recommend this beautiful valley and casa cavoquinho as a relaxing place to stay.
