He took us around Fogo to see these really amazing places. The room was very comfortable, toilets and bathrooms very clean.There was always hot water running from the bathroom taps when needed. I was really thrilled by the craftmanship in the buildings . Jose used larva to build the house, and used recycled bottles in building part of the walls of the bathroom, so much sustainability on display . Jose was also very helpful when i needed to book a last minute flight back to Praia. Thank you Jose

The place is very well set up and the owners are kind and helpful people. It's a family operation with lots of experience in hospitality. The rooms are clean and functional. The meals were nice too. We would definitely stay here again.

Attention , food, accommodation, internet (taking in account the house is in a remote place). They really care about you. I've never felt so welcomed! :) Alcindo is also the best guide to Pico do Fogo you could ever have.

Casa Ze & sonia ligger i Portela och erbjuder utsikt över bergen, gratis WiFi och gratis privat parkering. Det finns ett fullt utrustat eget badrum med en dusch och gratis toalettartiklar. Ze and Sonia were super nice, friendly and accommodating. They could speak French relatively well. The room is simple but functional. The meals prepared were very delicious. The WiFi was good to work from there, and in case, the 4G antenna is located nearby. Absolutely recommended!

EcoFunco ligger i Portela. Det finns gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen. En kontinental frukost serveras varje morgon på EcoFunco. Närmaste flygplats är São Filipe flygplats som ligger 40 km från boendet. The best customer service! The host Lea was super helpful before we even got there. She answered all my questions very quickly and provided lots of information. They arranged the shuttle service for us as well as a guide to climb up the volcano. João himself is a guide and you can book him. Obviously the location is perfect and you have a beautiful view of the volcano right from the room. Make sure to eat at Isabella's next door, her food is delicious and she was such a warm and wonderful person. All in all it was a wonderful experience!

After the beautiful down hike from Portela we were very tired and we're welcomed with cold drinks. After that we had a very lovely paella and went to sleep in our comfortable room. We had a very good and quite 11 hours sleep. Breakfast was very tasty and enough. Beautiful location overseeing the coastline.

Treasured the breathtaking expansive black sand beach surrounded by mountains and basically having it to ourselves. Peacefulness. Roberto (and his cute dogs) are attentive hosts. He proudly provided a fine dining experience. This was a very natural experience in the outdoor bungalow, beach and tropical grounds compared to the large chain resorts that we normally stay at. Loved the very memorable two days there and great overall value.

Having a room towards the sea... just great. Sunset on the balcony. View towards Brava island. Breakfast on the top terrace... nice, but rather simple (well, fresh Papaya were super!). Nice people at the reception... no word in english... but we understood each other perfectly ! Reservation and payment without any problems. They sent a taxi to the airport to pick us up.
