A beautiful and peaceful property that extends all the way to the Pacuare River. A perfect mix of farm and forest, flora and fauna, and domestic and wild animals. Alfonso is a gracious host and the coffee is delicious! I wish I had planned for more time here!

Það er staðsett í aðeins 46 km fjarlægð frá Ujarras-rústunum. The Lodge at Reventazon River Mountain Ranch býður upp á gistingu í Turrialba með aðgangi að garði, sameiginlegri setustofu og... Incredible location on top of the mountain. Nothing but nature. We had a cabin completely off the remaining part of the lodge. We spent the evening on the balcony - just listening the sounds of nature and watching the animals/birds around us. There was NOTHING around us other than woods and animals. Unbelievable experience. Also the hosts Mia and Ranzel were SO SWEET. They equipped us with vegetables from their garden and lights for the night and they were so incredibly friendly. Kitchen was greatly equipped so we could cook a nice meal in the evening. Breakfast was equally amazing with fresh eggs from the ranch and plenty of fresh fruits etc. We deeply regretted that we didn’t stay longer. Highly recommended.

Before we arrived I wondered if the drive was really worth for just one night. As soon as we got there I was sure that it was. The owner made us feel very welcome, cooked for us one of the best dinners we had on our trip and gave us a lot of insights into life at the finca and in Costa Rica in general. The place itself is lovely, decorated with a lot of love for details. And the view from the living room as well as our room was just stunning. If our plans had allowed, we would have loved to stay another night! Two things to keep in mind: First, the last 4 km of the road are gravel. We managed it just fine with our non-4x4 Hyundai Grand i10. We were there during the dry season and have experience taking roads like that. If in doubt ask the owner beforehand what condition the road is in. Second, the finca is at an altitude of about 1500 m. It can get pretty cool in the evening, night and morning, so bring long trousers and a jacket.

Olly's House er staðsett í Turrialba á Cartago-svæðinu og er með svalir. Perfect location, beautiful, clean and modern house/decoration! Had the feeling that the owners were architects or something similar!

Ledy's Inn er sjálfbært gistiheimili í Turrialba, 30 km frá Ujarras-rústunum. Það státar af garði og garðútsýni. Gististaðurinn er með innri húsgarð og útsýni yfir hljóðláta götu. The apartment was very close to the center of town, but tucked into a quiet neighborhood. Great location!
