The owner is friendly and quick in responding, there is the option to book tours, and Albert, the caretaker of the house, is very friendly and helpful. The villa is located about a 10 min drive from San Ignacio. It’s quite hard to find, but you can ask anyone in town, they will know the host Larry. You definitely need a car. It’s a very nice little place in a beautiful setting surrounded with palm trees. It’s extremely quiet and that gives a nice break from San Ignacio. The beds are big and very comfy. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment and it was perfect for our family of 4 even without a living room. Larry can give you good advices about the activites in the area.

Hummingbird Rest a fully equipped cabana in subtropic garden, a property with a garden, is set in San Ignacio, 15 km from El Pilar, 26 km from Barton Creek Cave, as well as 28 km from Actun Tunichil... We had a wonderful time at Hummingbird Rest. The cabana is spacious and so well equipped. The shower was super hot, the kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were comfy, the outdoor area was so lush and gorgeous. We loved laying out in the hammock and watching the hummingbirds fly past.

Fabulous views Delicious breakfast. they use lots of stuff they grow. the hibiscus tea is delicious. lots of useful local information. really responsive to our questions. very solicitous when my husband was unwell and gave us some fresh coconut water. loved the hardwood floors and comfortable bed. lots of lovely towels too

Located in Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve near the Blancaneaux Line, Kāne Villas offers 3 separate vacation rentals on a 5 acre property. Great quiet spot, only 2 other properties there. Awesome easy hike to a waterfall and cave right off of the property. Great, happy staff!! Perfect spot for a few nights in the jungle with the family
