This was one of the highlights of our 2 week tour of Albania, had low expectations because of the cost, nice town, bit of a twisty road to get there, especially the last few kilometres. Nice places to eat and have a few drinks. The host was just charming, genuinely lovely. Zero English. And my Albanian was worse.we had the most incredible conversations, and we understood each other finally! I am reminded why we travel when this happens. If you are close go here. Be yourself. Room was spotless, breakfast, better than most.Came away with a new respect for Albanian culture. Like staying at your Aunties, but with more fun! Beer or a glass of wine on the wall outside and watch the sun go down on Tirana or the castle.
