We stayed in the Lake View room and it was lovely, especially seeing the daily lives of those living around the lake. The room was clean and comfortable. Laundry services were available and the host did an amazing job with our clothes. The homestay is within walking distance to the Imperial City as well as a local market. Great food options in the area. Some of the best spots were in hidden alleys. The homestay is also near a great corner cafe, tasty bánh mì, and an excellent barber. The host for this homestay was so incredibly sweet! It was a joy to interact with her and her visitors. Yes, there is a language barrier, but I'm not sure where most of the reviewers think they are traveling to. You'd think they were going to the UK or Canada with how much English they expect everyone to speak. Folks, you're in Vietnam and there are plenty of translation apps!

The homestay is clean, comfortable and in a good location- but the best thing about it is Hannah! She is so friendly, kind and helpful and made our stay wonderful! Not only did she make us breakfast each morning and catered for us as vegan (the fried noodles were amazing!), she also recommended and organised everything for us that we wanted- from a dragon boat trip to the pagoda to a day tour to the tombs and incense village, and a luxury night bus to Hanoi. We would 100% recommend and would stay again when we are back in Hue! Thanks Hannah!!!
