The room was very clean and comfortable. Very good value. Within a few minutes walk you can find restaurants and grocery stores. Jan was there to greet us before we even got out of our Grab and welcomed us and helped with getting our luggage to our room. We had read that she would make us dinner upon request so we had a delicious dinner in her little tree and plant lined courtyard. My husband had a Sea Bass curry which was the best fish he has had so far after 3 weeks in Thailand. Perfectly cooked. My curry was wonderful as well. Jan got some of the spice and produce from her garden while we were sitting and enjoying the birds around the area. One was hanging around one of the hanging baskets and I received some follow up messages and pictures that showed a nest and then a picture of a baby bird and another egg. These are the best memories that you make on a holiday! I cannot comment on location but it was about 15 minutes from the train station (300 bht) and then the Grab picked us up the next morning for our trip to Koh Lanta. (We were even able to watch a bit of Netflix on TV in the room.)

We stayed here just 1 night as we had come from Khao Sok and were going to Koh Tao the next day. The room was so spacious, mini bar with really decent prices was a nice touch, great bathroom, great aircon. The staff were incredible, they recommended us a restaurant to go to in the evening which turned out to be one of the best meals we’ve had on our trip. They also sorted us a taxi to the pier the next day for a really decent price.

But there is one of them is in corner and seems boring. The location is good as long you have transport. The villa is big enough for activity. However, the villa is value for money. The staff is super friendly and the owners work hard to make sure you're happy with your stay. The small villa we had was clean, had plenty of outlets, and the bed was comfy. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the onsite restaurant+ bar and had a very tasty margarita and mango smoothie with our dinner. The separate cafe serves a small breakfast in the morning. We were able to arrange with the hotel a pickup and drop off to/from the train station for a reasonable fee.

It felt like we were the first occupants after complete renovation. Latest generation A/C units are super quiet and keep the room comfortably chilled, very quiet and safe place. The swimming pool by the beer bar is great.
