The family that runs the place is really kind, they treated us so nice during our time there and allowed us to leave part of our luggage in their storage room during our trekking in the Annapurna. This is the second time we stayed here. We were here first 2 years ago. Everything was still top notch. The owner was super helpful and friendly as always. Room was spacious, clean and nice overall. The washroom was also spacious with excellent hot water. It is also located at Lakeside but away from all of it's hussle and bustle.

We travelled to Pokhara to do Poonhill trek and Harry Guesthouse was excellent choice because he owns travel agency "Sarangkot treks and expedition private" and it was very easy to agree on our private itinerary for good price before we traveled to Nepal. Finally everything was as agreed always intime and we had excellent guide on our trek. Accommodation itself is in quiet backstreet just 10min walk to lakeside, clean and with hot water. Simple room has quite new A/C and comfortable bed, maybe just pillow could be more soft ( not so full). Breakfast was very good as well.

Mingtang is one of the best places we stayed in Nepal during our trip. The owner and staff members make you feel super welcome and like home. They also helped us to book all the taxis to go explore around the area and have many useful recommendations about restaurants and cafes nearby. The hotel is well located and the territory is clean and quite. You don’t hear any noise and there are lots of trees and flowers to enjoy. Also there is a friendly dog called Yahu. The breakfasts were different every day, and super delicious. We loved the place and if we ever come back, we will stay here again.

The food was excellent, the delicious coffee was harvested and roasted on site. The views were beautiful, lots of butterflies and birds, rooms were very clean, all around a wonderful experience. The family running the home for over 20 years does a wonderful job of knowing when to engage, and when to give space. They're very intuitive and focused on making sure you have an authentic experience. My best stay in Nepal so far, easily.
