The view. The cleanliness. The value for money. The staff. Almost everything. I stayed there for 2 weeks last February. I liked the hotel a lot. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Hashan the owner treated us as his own guests. He is very generous and hospitable. The food was very delicious and authentic. Haputale is very calm place and less touristy than Ella. I loved it more than Ella. It is surrounded by tea plantations, and very ery close to Horton Plains and Lipton’s seat. The hotel arranged trips for us to those places and to Udawalawe National Park. The roads around the hotel are great for trekking.

En Dilshan i el seu germà ens van ajudar molt a organitzar les activitats al voltant de Haputale, i a més en Dilshan ens va portar amb el seu tuk tuk a l’estació i a un restaurant. L’esmorzar i el sopar estan boníssims!!!

Everything! It was the most beautiful, elegant, welcoming place we stayed in all of Sri Lanka! The home is a true bed & breakfast. The food was amazing and host couple was absolutely lovely. We found this place by chance while looking for lodging on a stopover near Ella. It was the best surprise. We could have stayed here for days. Some of the best food I’ve ever eaten in my life! It was a highlight of the trip. Thank you for having us!

Eco Lodge Haputale-Camping Sri lanka, a property with a garden, is set in Haputale, 46 km from Gregory Lake, 27 km from Demodara Nine Arch Bridge, as well as 37 km from Horton Plains National Park.

This place was truly the best experience I lived in my 4 months in Sri Lanka. Haputale is incredible and the camping site is placed in a strategic point which has an incredible view over the hill country. To reach it you have to walk for 15 minutes in a gorgeous tea plantation. And the food… super delicious. Most importantly, the guys managing it are very friendly and were so nice to us. Thank you Viraj, Thila and Hishan, we truly loved your camp! We’ll definitely come back :)

Adisham village home, allotjament vacacional a Haputale

Offering a garden and mountain view, Adisham village home is set in Haputale, 40 km from Gregory Lake and 27 km from Demodara Nine Arch Bridge.

This place has the most amazing positive energy - from the warmth of the welcome to the number of birds that come to the feeder outside the bedroom window. The breakfasts were delicious and could be tailored to suit individuals; the dinners likewise. Sameera turned out to be an excellent guide and knowledgeable about the locale and nature. My massage was great and much needed after a hike ducking branches and hopping over logs. Lots more activities were on offer but my stay was too short to take up beekeeping, for example.
