This was the first place I stayed in during my trip to Korea - and it exceeded all expectations. I arrived early, but the owner let me leave my luggage and lent me an umbrella. When I returned to check in, he gave me a (big) tasty cake as a welcome gift! The room is spacious, as is the bathroom. The beds are on the hard side (normal for Korea), but comfortable. The breakfast is INCREDIBLE. A feast of delicious Korean dishes, which are freshly cooked and change each day. A quick and easy laundry service is available at a competitive price. The location in Yeonnam-dong is also perfect - it's a 10-minute walk to the metro and the busy part of Hongdae, but the neighbourhood surrounding the guesthouse is really chill and full of fantastic cafes and restaurants. This place is excellent value for Seoul - book it now!

Just recently stayed at Hao Guesthouse. Definitely worth recommending since the house is accessible to the metro and other modes of transportation. Hongdae is pretty lively at night and there were so many restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The rooms are also clean and comfy. The keeper is also approachable and friendly. Wifi and breakfast are good too.

The room was extremely clean, and the white bedding was so neat and comfortable. I arrived late at night, but the check-in process was very smooth. They emailed me a self-check-in guide, it was very convenient. The owner even waited for me until after midnight, and was very friendly. There were numerous cafes, including Italian restaurants, and a convenience store right across the street from the hotel. I was so happy during my stay in this lovely guesthouse.
