Fridge had a nice self -serve breakfast( cold cuts, cereals, juices, oat milk and regular milk, fresh croissants and buns delivered in the morning etc…) The room had a small complete kitchen with enough utensils to cook a simple meal. Self checkin was easy. There was a laundry facility.

The location of the B&B is wonderful, in the lower part of the old-town, walking distance to the upper old town as well as the lower city centre. The B&B also offered us a car parking place in their inner courtyard for an additional small fee, which was very nice.

Location was excellent and we loved the Pignolo village feel of the area. Everything was really accessible and walking to either the upper or lower town was picturesque. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby too. The weather was terrible but the apartment was warm. There was plenty of room in it and it was reasonably well equipped, we managed to cook some really nice food in it no problem.SarahFamily with young children

Staff was extremely kind and let us sleep longer than noon. Then we were offered free espresso and cookies. Before departure the gentleman kindly offered to make us some pasta dish for quick lunch which we gladly accepted. We offered to pay for it but he refused to take any money. Great service and kindness is what we took with us from Villa Giovanna.

Giovanna was an excellent host, kind and very responsive and let us leave our bags for a few hours after checkout. When we bumped into her when she was cleaning the rooms she gave us a great suggestion to stay a couple more hours and visit the small village San Vigilio up the funicular from the old city. We had a great stay and would visit again!

We didn't mind the minimalistic style at all, as we could find there all we expected from a holiday home. We were prepared to take some extras like shower gel, plastic bags or some spices and it wasn't a problem for us. Daniela was very nice and offered her support if we needed something.
