Everything!! The apartment is big, clean, beautiful, comfortable. Has absolutely everything you may need. The kitchen is fully equipped (just no microwave for some reason that i definitely would added). The surroundings are very beautiful and peaceful. There are convenience store, fuel station and bakery in a walking distance.

Overlooking Lake Lagarfljót, this guest house is 5 minutes’ drive from central Egilsstadir. All rooms include free WiFi access, a fridge and a private bathroom with shower.

It was our last guesthouse in Iceland, and our favorite. It is a lovely new and modern place with large, clean rooms, private bathrooms and a well equipped shared kitchen. You can park by the front door and there are no stairs to climb. Pricewise it was one of the best deals we had during the trip.

The property is located in beautiful and natural surroundings. one of our best stays in Iceland! to top it all the owner Asdis is a wonderful person who had great tips and was always available for help. She makes yummy chia and fruit yoghurt! The property has a hot tub in the beautiful outdoors and we had the most relaxing time enjoying it! A must go place if you plan to be in the area!
