The hosts Ms. Julia and Mr. Sasikumar were very kind and understanding. Our train was expected to reach Madgaon very early in the morning. We requested our hosts to give us an early check-in and they graciously agreed. Mr. Sasikumar stayed at a nearby property to receive us early in the morning. We were in KG2 2BHK villa. It is very tastefully done and clean. We were travelling with a young child. The swimming pool at the property is well-maintained my child just loved it. The gated property is located in a quiet zone. The Colva Beach and restaurants are about 800m away from the property. So you can either choose to walk or hire a vehicle ( bike/car) as per your preference. If you are looking for relaxing and a comfortable stay then go for this property without hesitation.

I feel very lucky to have found Villa Barbosa. The host, Reuben, is outstanding. One of those hosts who were born to do the job. Every guest is the beneficiary of a warm welcome and an irrepressible desire to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The accommodation is in an annexe to the colonial family home, a property that several generations of the family have occupied for close to 400 years. It is a beautiful property housed in its own gated garden & grounds, many old colonial features are well preserved. A bottomless supply of filtered water is available on every floor, each room has a/c, tea/coffee making facilities and a fridge. Some rooms have a view of the gardens/road and some a view of an internal courtyard. Bed linen and towels are regularly changed, rooms regularly cleaned. There is plenty of parking space in the courtyard. The property is only 5-10 minutes walk from good local restaurants and a sedate 10-15 minute walk along countryside roads to the wide, empty, sandy Sernabatim beach with beach huts for refreshments and free (just buy a drink/food) sun loungers. Great location. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and cannot praise Reuben highly enough for his friendly, efficient hospitality.

We had a great stay at the villas for 3 nights. The staff: Naresh, Numa, Kumari, Pavitra, Tila were very attentive, courteous and polite. They treated us like family and catered to every request we had. Pools were always clean and they would clean it again upon our request. They made great homely food and took great care of us. Our kids had a great time with the adults and the kids at the property alike. We will stay here again and would like to recommend this place to all those visiting South Goa.
