The location allows you to explore the many beautiful medieval villages close by and Albi itself has a lovely medieval center to explore. The hostess, Marie, is lovely and provided us with many useful suggestions for our touring. She goes beyond expectations to help, as shown by her efforts to help us get our cell phone to work. Marie and her husband made us feel very welcome and made our stay one of the best during our vacation. We stayed 4 days but wished we could have stayed longer. A really EXCEPTIONAL Bed And Breakfast !

AC in the kitchen area and in the bedroom was critical and appreciated. Bathroom/shower were quite cozy but sufficient. We did use the wash machine, also appreciated.

This lovely appartment is ideal for visiting the centre of Albi on foot. Parking the car nearby was easy; once parked, I never needed to move it. Everything in the appartment and the rest of the building was clean, modern and as it should be. I came away with the impression that the owners really care about making their guests comfortable. There are restaurants and a baker's close by, with supermarkets and much more a few minutes' walk across the river.

La Maison de Julia provided a quiet getaway during a hectic sightseeing trip. It was so nice to take a break for a couple of days to just enjoy some poolside reading. Best of all was the proprietor Pascale who helped us get to the hotel from the train station and mapped out the must-dos in Albi. She’s also a fantastic cook! Her homemade breakfast was by far the best we had on this trip.

Our room was a family room so was large in size although we were only 2 people, and it was comfortable. Mario, the owner, is very friendly and had lots of tips of where to eat! With good weather you have breakfast, a very tasty one!!!, on the roof terrace looking at the impressive cathedral of Sint Cecile, fantastic!!
