We stayed in room 202, on the second floor. The place is great. Plenty of room, great amenities, parking, heating, fridge etc. Bus station right outside (25min to city center). Even though the property is right next to the street, there were no issues with noise. Communication with the owner went smoothly.

The apartment was spacious, newly renovated, and immaculately clean. The kitchen was stocked with absolutely every appliance and utensil you could think of. A nice balcony with chairs allows you to enjoy a morning coffee or a drink in the evening looking out at the snow-covered Alps. This is also a working farm, so you get to see the sheep every day out in the pasture next to the apartments and get a taste of Bavarian countryside life. Many guests have cars, but if you don't, a bus into town stops right in front of the property every 15 minutes or so.

Herbert, the host, is friendly, professional and super attentive; always ready to give tips on what to do and what to see. We would definately stay there next time in Salzburg.

There is a short walk to the main railway station if travelling onwards or returning to Salzburg via train. It is possible to walk on a sunny day into the old town via a riverside path (20 minute walk). The two roomed apartment was spacious with good self catering facilities and the prepaid breakfast was good.
