Emilia and Brne, the hosts, were very hospitable. They even let us to use their electric powered boat for a lake excursion on our own when we enquired whether a boat trip out to the lake would be good to do. We also loved the apartment on the 3rd floor. Very spacious rooms, and full kitchen and toilet facilities. It could comfortably house 4 adults, but then it's just the 2 of us, having all that space is surreal. Location wise is also excellent. While not within the town centre, it is on its fringe, and is within very short walks to the bus station, a ferry terminal, the only supermarket and ATM in town and the ground funicular train station up to the Hallstatt salt mine. It's also got a garden by the lake where you can lounge to sun bathe or simply have a drink in the evening and enjoy the views of the mountains across the lake. They don't serve breakfast but hey, the nice bakery- Maislinger - is just a short walk away, and it opens at 6 am !

Situada al costat de la preciosa plaça centrica del poble amb vistes al llac. Vam tenir una habitació amb un balconet al llac. INMILLORABLE! L’esmorzar complert, casolà i bó. A més, les taules estaven al jardí devant el llac. Tenen un espai per poder banyar-te, aixi que si vas a l’estiu agafa el banyador i la tovallola perquè el sol pica i l’aigua del llac es fresca.
