Very friendly staff and service. This is a hotel I definitely want to visit again.

Avenue House is located in Bakewell, within 2.4 km of Haddon Hall and 3.3 km of Chatsworth House. Built in 1900, the property is within 2.8 km of Ashford Castle. Free WiFi is available. Spacious and clean room with a huge bathroom. Full breakfast served is fresh and more than adequate. Staff is friendly and helpful. Self check-in is easy if you arrive after 3 pm. Hosts give good recommendations to nice restaurants in the area. If coming by train, double deck bus 218 connects you easily to Sheffield, routing Chatsworth House and beautiful scenery.
