Situated in Venturada, 44 km from Chamartin Railway Station and 45 km from IFEMA, Oasis Sierra features spacious air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi. The host, Julio could not have been more helpful. The room was very spacious, with an en suite bathroom. There was a refrigerator to keep cold items fresh. A delicous breakfast of scrambled eggs and bacon, with fruit, tea, and coffee, was served in our room. Julio does not provide an evening meal, however, he recommended two restaurants which were close by. The garden was enclosed, and our little dog enjoyed exploring it. Will definitely be back.

Located at the edge of the quiet and sleepy pueblo of Horcajuelo this sweet little hotel features beautiful views from it's comfy rooms. The hotel has an excellent restaurant (NOTE! Open Thursday-Sunday only) which sources much of their ingredients locally and which is operated by the hotel's friendly and welcoming staff. For the stargazers among you, bring your own blanket and pillow and lie below the stars at the nearby helipad, only a few minutes walk way. The view of the night sky is frankly quite stunning from here. The morning after, the breakfast is well worth having - make sure you ask for it the day before though- it's by request only!

Great location, beautiful room, large and cosy bed. The view from our room was great, could have breakfast in front of the window/balcony!

Set in Bustarviejo in the Community of Madrid region, Mirasierra features a garden. With a private bathroom, units at the guest house also have free WiFi. I liked the location relative to public transport. If you don't have a car but you want to spend a night in the mountains and do some hiking or walking or even cycling, this is a great affordable option for which to base yourself at for a night or two. The rooms are pretty basic, but the shower works fine, with plenty of hot water. There is wifi (though a little slow), the room was pretty clean. There were nice views over parts of town and nearby mountains. There are a few supermarkets and places to eat within easy walking distance. They didn't stint on toilet paper. I don't think it has air conditioning though, which may make it ick during the summer depending on weather. But it is what you'd expect from a one or two star hotel, and for €30, can't go wrong if you want to visit Bustarviejo.

La Posada de Serrada located in the Sierra Norte de Madrid, is an establishment that is a warm, cozy, comfortable and familiar to rest, tune out, and enjoy the surroundings. Nacho was amazing! looked after us all night after we had broke down near Madrid! This place is exceptionally clean and great value for money.
