We really enjoyed staying away from the tourist hub of Tortuguero in a much quieter place run by locals - but you are only a few minutes by boat from everything and Sergio was happy to take us when we wanted to go somewhere. The welcome was outstanding and Gloria and Sergio could not have been more willing to help us get the most out of our 2 night stay. Sergio's boat tour of the national park was a treasure as it was just the two of us and him in the boat, so we were able to glide quietly and saw so many animals birds and reptiles - including a very rare spotting of an ocelot and her cub! We were very glad we stayed here and highly recommend it. It was really good value for money for the service we received.

Rooms are very clean and super comfortable to stay in. Staff is really nice and incredibly helpful. The owners gave us lots of advice on things to do in Puerto Viejo and the area around it.

I was impressed with the spotless absolutely clean room. Immaculate! I enjoyed a comfortable sleep and was treated so kindly by the owners, that I will not forget them. I definitely recommend Cabinas Hukats Secret Jungle. What a local gem!!!

Situated in Cocles, Finca Valeria Treehouses Glamping features a garden and on-site dining. All rooms are fitted with a terrace with river views. At the guest house, rooms are fitted with a wardrobe. It was great! Very clean. Very cosy. I felt so welcome.
