Free public parking in front of the property. We enjoyed staying in the hostal. Maria, the host, helped us with various things, she was very friendly and attentive. The value of comfort/location/price is ideal. The price is low as compared to the hotels, it is locatied not far from the center of the city, near the beach, Ahu Tahai where you can make amazing photos of the sunset is within walking distance from the hostal. If we come back to Rapa Nui, we will book the hostal again with no doubts. Thank you very much!

Set in a charming cabins made of local materials on the slopes of Rano Kau Volcano, Cabanas Christophe offers rooms and self-catering bungalows with free Wi-Fi and plasma TVs in Easter Island. Hanga Roa city centre is a 5-minute drive away. Christophe was very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. We took several tours with him and would highly recommend them. Having a washing machine on the property was very helpful. Our son loved the cute cat which lives on the property.

A recently renovated guest house located in Hanga Roa, Hostal Makohe Rapa Nui features a garden. This guest house provides free private parking, free shuttle service and free WiFi. The accommodation features a shared kitchen, full-day security and luggage storage for guests. Everything! This is a lovely place to stay on Rapa Nui. You are a short stroll to the center of town, to the Ahu Tahai and the ocean. Carlos and Pamela are the most gracious hosts. They will make you feel welcome and can help arrange tours, etc. You really could not ask for better hosts. The rooms are very nice and super clean, and have a small fridge. . My bed was so comfortable. The shared kitchen is spacious and clean and well equipped. There is a living room to hang out in and a nice backyard. Hostal Makohe, in my opinion, is really a step up from the usual hostal.

Excellent location. Restaurants, shops, supermarkets and cafes are only a minute away by foot. Pathy, the hostess, was awesome. She was a big help for information about Rapa Nui. Free transport to and from the airport, which is 3 minutes away by car. You can walk to the waterfront in about 8 minutes. Tour agencies, Internet cafe, and other services are located on the same street (the main street) as the lodge. Kahina Lodge... highly recommended.
