We travel a lot and this is by far one of the most beautiful places we have ever been. Great value for money. The interior and garden are really well maintained and full of great spots to either hang out and relax alone or meet up with people. We stayed in the VAN which was an amazing experience. Also the shared kitchen has everything you need and wish for.

Just what I was needing :) Also Rafa the owner showed me around which I appreciated a lot, and they helped me find a reasonably priced taxi !

Nastanitev El Bamboo Cabins se nahaja v mestu Balgue in ponuja brezplačen WiFi, vrt s teraso ter pogled na jezero. It is a special place. Maybe not for everyone, but for us was really good. We staid right on the edge of the lake. We always heard the waves. The cabin is equipped with all you need. The architecture is much nicer than the pictures. Also, Che is a really great person. Thank you!

Nastanitev Rosa's Lake Cabins je od znamenitosti vulkan Maderas oddaljena 3,7 km in ponuja restavracijo, vrt, teraso ter bar. Amazing place!! The family is so nice and made us feel super welcome. The place is idyllic: it's quite far from restaurants and stuff, but the secludeness of the place is what makes it so incredible. The cabins are very cute with a nice terrace. Facilities are okay: it's fine but not luxurious. There are lots of insects on Ometepe, so also at Rosa's Lake Cabins. I recommend renting a motorbike, because buses aren't frequent. The family is very helpful in many ways: recommending restaurants, arranging tours etc. They can also do your laundry. All in all, really a fantastic stay if you want to go off the beaten track!

We were so impressed. In our opinion it was more beautiful than on the pictures on booking. We enjoyed the silence, beach walks, sunsets and the food.

Red Pepper Popoyo Guesthouse is only 50 meters away from the beach, Offering a rooftop terrace and views of the sea, Red Pepper Popoyo is located in Popoyo, 2.8 km from Salinas. We LOVED Red Pepper! We originally booked for 10 days and ended up staying for 20. Mark and Mariken were wonderful, and were so generous with their time and knowledge of the area. We loved having the peace and quiet of our private rooftop. After travelling for 8 months, Red Pepper was the first place we extended our stay—twice! The Monday curry and Wednesday noodles can’t be beat. We cooked almost all of our meals except Monday and Wednesdays because we loved Marks cooking so much. We opted to rent an additional fan to help keep us cool at night. It’s about a 15 minute walk to Finca, where you can rent boards and surf the Popoyo break, and about 25min to Beginners Bay. We enjoyed the walk as a warm-up for surfing!

Finca la Magia is a jungle hostel on a small organic farm located just outside San Ramon, 40 km from Moyogalpa. Food was amazingly made by Delfa, their nica chef. Who made Vegetarian dishes with farms ingredients and using fire in a typical stove. I totally recommend to have all the meals you can, you’ll love it. We enjoyed a volcano Concepcion tour with a young guide named Josias, who showed us that wonderful landscape. Also the reception helped us to get a scooter for 25usd, a nice way to go around the island. The chef daughter made a surprise birthday cake for my girlfriend, which made us a felt like home. Finca La Magia is the perfect spot for privacy and natural surroundings. No internet coverage but a decent wifi at the restaurant.
