Modern, well equipped half-house with a great view and parking. Fully equipped kitchen, the bathtub with the ocean view round the offering. It is a great place to stay for a couple of nights when exploring the island -- for us the stay was way too short as it was just to stay over and get to the earliest ferry the next day, which is conveniently just 8 min drive away.

Situated on the beachfront in Mitoyo, 瀬戸内ゲストハウス「タイヨウとうみ」 features a garden and free WiFi. Guests can enjoy sea views. The beach is just a 3-minute walk from the property. Ayako is such a wonderful and lovely host. She welcomes you like family, and ensures that you are well taken care of. She gives great recommendations on what to do and eat in the vicinity. The nearby onsen is also affordable and luxurious with many different kinds of baths. She cooks the most delicious home style food, which is oh so comforting. One of the most enjoyable meals of my trip. She even offered Mandarin oranges which were grown in her garden (I hope she enjoyed the Kochi persimmon which I gifted her!). Haku (her dog) and cat are both friendly and adorable. The room is spacious, and the house is conveniently close to Chichibugahama beach so that you can watch the sunset/sunrise. If I visit the area again, I would not hesitate to stay here once more. Thank you for making me feel home while away from home! :)

We had friends that recommended another property that was booked. We are so glad, because we found Sana Mane!! Our Glamp Dome had water front sunrise views a private dining bunker that was the best meal experience of our vacation, our host was so friendly and helped with everything from sauna, meals and transpo. An intimate property close to nature yet high in creature comforts. This is a 10 minute walk from the ferry terminal and very private. You will love it. And yes, there's a bathroom and heat in your dome-- it's better than a hotel room!

Hoshi no sora in Shodoshima has a garden and a terrace. Built in 1975, renovated in July 2018, the property is within 7 km of Twenty Four Eyes Movie Studio. Sakate Port is just a 4-minute's walk away.... It's a small and very cute guesthouse with extremely welcoming hosts. A short walk away from Setonohama beach for swimming, a short hike away from the beautiful Goishizan Temple and mountain and also easy to take the ferry from the Sakate port. The guesthouse has a very friendly and cozy atmosphere and you will be able to hang out with other guests easily. The breakfast was exceptional.

UOGASHI7070 Ocean View is situated in Miyanoura. This property offers access to a balcony. This apartment with sea views features a bathroom with a bidet, shower and free toiletries. The owner was very friendly and picked us up from the ferry terminal. The property was clean and comfortable and the view was great. It was also close enough to one of the main museums to walk. A free light breakfast/snack was provided as well.
