Situated in Hólmavík in the West Iceland region, Beautiful house just 50 m from the sea features a patio and mountain views. The apartment had everything we needed, Including some coffee, sugar, pepper and salt, toaster, etc. the best thing was the beautiful Garden right on the water, beautiful Plantings, amazing views through the windows unto the Icelandic flowers. Mökki oli tosi siisti ja siellä oli hyvin varusteltu pikkukeittiö. Käytössä oli myös oma pikku patio puutarhakalusteilla, eli hyvän sään aikaan olisi voinut oleskella ulkona. Maisemat kaikkialle oli hienot. Ihana oma rauha. Hyvä sänky. Lähellä oli kuumavesiallas, jossa kävimme rentoutumassa.

Boasting a garden, terrace and views of sea, Flateyri guesthouse is situated in Flateyri, 21 km from Pollurinn Hot Spring. This beachfront property offers access to free WiFi and free private parking.... Our stay was wonderful! The location and the amenities at the guesthouse were more than we could have asked for. From the view of fjords and blue waters to a beautifully furnished home - we felt right at home. The town of Flateyri is gorgeous, sleepy, and atmospheric. It is located right at the foothills of the fjord and serves as a perfect location to explore Icelandic Westfjords. We ate at the cafe (which even had vegan items on the menu), visited the old bookstore for souvenirs and some reading materials, shopped in a local grocery store and strolled the quiet streets. The guesthouse itself was clean, tastefully decorated, comfortable, and warm. It even had heated floors! We fell in love with the huge modern bath tub and the most comfortable bed. Stephanie, our host, is top notch, attentive, friendly and all around a wonderful human being. She even offered us a thermos and binoculars as we headed out to spot some local wildlife on our hike! Kind and thoughtful! In addition, we got so many tips from her about the area.

Situated in Þingeyri, within 29 km of Pollurinn Hot Spring, Gemlufall guesthouse offers accommodation with air conditioning. The location was ideal for spotting Aurora Light! The guest house has a wonderfull view and it is a sheer enjoyment sitting in front of the window enjoying the sea and snow mountains at day, and hunting for aurora light in the night. It was almost a guarantee to see the aurora light (weather permit) just a few steps aways from the house, or even sitting inside the house when you are lucky enought that the light shows up in the right direction. We first planned to stay one night snd then we ended up staying here for 4. We got a lot of snow and wind during the day, but just looking at the snow flakes flying in the wind was pleasing enough. Highly recommend this place to those who enjoys tranquility and aurora light spotting.
