Fantastic homestay near wonderful fjord and mountains with fantastic very helpful and kind owners, kitchen and jacuzzi are also fantastic, I definitely will come again to enjoy much more even when 4 days here were just wonderful :)

Many thanks to Hildur and Siggi and their childs, you were fantastic hosts! We had one of the two cottages. Great equipped and lovingly decorated without overloading it! There was a very tasty breakfast with fresh eggs of our choice, pancakes and a delicious smoothie! Great lounge/breakfast room. From the cottage a beautiful view of the valley. Two loving farm dogs. We did a nice hike around Raudanes Point with thousands of puffins.

Located 5 km from central Húsavík, Saltvík Farm Guesthouse offers accommodation with views of the surrounding mountains and Skjálfandi Bay. The location is a 10/10! We’ve been very lucky to have the first room to the left front side and could watch sunset and sunrise straight out of our bed. The guesthouse is surrounded by Iceland-Ponys, for breakfast you get fresh eggs from the owner’s chicken for free and the whole atmosphere is great. Very worth the price. The staff is so friendly - it feels like a family visit in a good way :) Would love to come back!
