Set 1.5 km from the town of Koli, Kolin Lotus Cottages are located close to Lake Pielinen. These self-catering, semi-detached cottages have a children’s playground and BBQ facilities. It was much cosier than in the pictures and was spotlessly clean. This small resort functioned like a well oiled machine and the caretaker was on hand offering assistance/ taking conscientious care of ploughing the snow to aid our exit and entry to the property. It was very very cold when we visited and the snow was mounding up continuously, but there was firewood on tap and the sauna was wonderful. and the view/ position amongst the trees was just idyllic. The cabins are in the perfect location for visiting Koli national park; witnessing the crown snow load alone was worth the drive from Helsinki. For anyone doing the same be aware that driving in the snow can increase the predicted driving time by 1/3!

Breakfast was also very good with a large selection. 10/10 - Highly recommend staying here. Will definitely come back if I'm in the area

Kolin Lotus Superior có ban công và tọa lạc ở Kolinkylä, Itä-Suomen. Great view, well cleaned and everything worked well. The contact person was easy to reach. It was super nice to swim in the lake after sauna. The pictures give a real picture of the house, extra plus for that.

The location was stunning and the facilities are beautiful. The sauna next to the lake was great; there are lots of beautiful places to relax and enjoy the lake and scenery. The food is good and the hosts are wonderful.

When we walked in we thought it was the reception to the building (as it's on the ground floor and has something of a feeling of a shop with the floor to ceiling windows etc), however very quickly realised it was indeed the actual apartment. Spotlessly clean, and felt luxurious to only have 2 of us staying when the apartment could quite comfortably sleep 6. Entry was very easy with the code provided, and parking is available just over the road in the small car park behind the K-Market. Would highly recommend for a trip to Savonlinna as it's in an incredible location just 5 minutes walk from Olavinlinna and the lakeside, but also easily accessible from the road.

The host was so kind, accommodating and understanding even after we had a situation on the property. The hosts were easy to contact via email. The room and facilities were immaculate and the facility was easy to navigate!

After a good sleep an amazing home cooked breakfast helped start the day - and free roaming ducks and chickens really got you in the best possible mood. The landscape, comfort, food, staff, and peace really are unparalleled. On top of everything we even got to charge our car a bit during the night to help us reach our next destination. Without a doubt will be visiting again.
