This family-run guest house is quietly situated in Stadt Wehlen in the heart of the Saxon Switzerland National Park, directly below the world-famous Bastei rock formation. Everything was maintained, clean and the location was beautiful. The breakfast was good-I’ve never seen so many jam options🙃.

Situated in Pirna and with Pillnitz Castle and Park reachable within 6 km, "Campingplatz Altjessen 57" features express check-in and check-out, allergy-free rooms, pool with a view, free WiFi and an... The hosts were friendly and gave us a tour on the small camping side. The camping was very close to the start of the first etappe of the Malerweg. We could leave the car for free, outside at the main road for the time we were gone. The breakfast was very variated and delicious, and on top of that it was a good start for our hike. Oh and we could use the pool, it was very clear and clean water.
