My parents and I had a very nice stay at Zuzanu house, all the staff were very friendly and welcoming, rooms were very nice with lots of character and I loved the fact that we were in the middle of a village so we got to experience how the locals live and 2 mins walk from the beach. Breakfast was very nice and fresh everyday. A TWO-COURSE BREAKFAST WITH PANCAKES WITH FRESH TROPICAL FRUIT, AND AS A SECOND COURSE YOU HAVE A CHOICE OF OMELETTES, EGGS, SAUSAGES, ETC., WILL FILL YOU WITH ENERGY FOR THE ENTIRE DAY AND YOU CAN LOOK FORWARD TO A GREAT DINNER OF FRESH FISH OR CHICKEN. IT'S A QUIET PLACE WHICH REALLY IMPRESSED US WITHOUT BEACHBOYS AND MASSAI TO HURRY YOU ON THE BEACH. IN THE NEARBY, YOU CAN VISIT BUSY PLACES AND SUBMERGE INTO THE MIX OF NIGHT ENTERTAINMENT, BUT THEN YOU RETURN TO AN OASIS OF CALM, WHERE YOU ONLY HEAR THE RHYTHMIC SOUND OF THE OCEAN, WHICH WILL SLEEP YOU BEAUTIFULLY. WE ARE IN ZANZIBAR FOR THE THIRD TIME AND WE ARE GLAD THIS ACCOMMODATION DOES NOT ALLOW SEX TOURISM. THE ADVANTAGE IS ALSO THE SWIMMING POOL WITH CLEAN WATER, WHICH YOU WILL ENJOY USING AT LOW TIDE TIME. IT'S A Pity THAT WE ONLY BOOKED 2 NIGHTS. WE WILL DEFINITELY STAY LONGER NEXT YEAR. THANK YOU.

One of the cleanest hotels and rooms in nungwi, youssef the owner is the best person ive met in all zanzibar. He helped us a lot and he really makes sure to insure our confort. Victor two is an amazing person. Really enjoyed my stay.

Everything was just amazing! The people in the house were very kind and lovely. The breakfast was delicious, everyday we had a different home made and fresh fruits. You walk 8 min and have shops, restaurants and pharmacy available. 15 min walk and you get to Nungwi beach. Everything was perfectly cleaned and tidy. They made us feel at home❣️ Do not hesitate to ask them, they will help with everything. I highly recommend this place.Hope to see you soon my friends. Asante!

Excellent stay in a very relaxed environment and with the best hosts in Nungwi.  After a big disappointment in the previous accommodations on the island, our real vacation just started when we came to "Pineapple house" at Luana and Isko's place.  Everything deserves the best rating; cleanliness, friendly atmosphere, friendly staff, excellent breakfast, great garden, nice rooms... Luana and Isko are the best hosts you could wish for. They were always ready to help and gave us the best recommendations on where to eat in the area, which beaches to visit, etc. They treated us like members of their family. Both are maximally dedicated to their guests and deserve the best recommendations. We realy hope to return to this place again and wish them all the best!

The beautiful place is located in a perfect location - very close to Royal Beach, Masai market and the main road in which you can find shops for everything you need. The host is just an amazing person, a great, warm, and welcoming host. When we arrived, she welcomed us with a post card and flower decorations to celebrate our honeymoon, and also gave us a generous plate of delicious fruits. She took care of every need that we had, on a daily basis. Laundry, kitchen, local recommendations and transfer, places to travel and to buy things like alcohol, SIM card, even Barbershop. They even go to a distant shop to buy a new fan, in addition to the one in the ceiling, because we came in unusually hot weather and I'm very sensitive about hit. Housekeeping, every day, with colorful flowers and cleaning, which was very nice. The rooms are in the middle of a big, colorful and beautiful garden, which also has some nice spots to sit and relax. The whole place is very quiet and safe. No doubt we will come again.

Tanya was very nice host. Breakfast was good enough with omelette, fruits, tea and coffe and freshly made fruit juice. She showed me the road to the sea and local restaurants, located mainly close to the sea. Tanya also changed USD to TZS for me on reasonable exchange rate, organized transfer from ZNZ airport. Tanya can also find a motor bike with the local driver - the best choice for short distance drive. Much more cheaper than TAXI. Although in the most of the bars and restaurants on the beach you can pay by card, most of them are using transactions in USD. If you are paying by card in USD, you have to pay more either in TZS (in cash). May be the owners of the restaurants are willing to receive some tips also from card payments. Way to beach - about 10 minutes by foot via local village from Tamaru House Bungalow.

Great place, just a few minutes from the beach. Cheap, clean and very nice. The owner Abdullah is very nice, entertaining and has a heart of gold. He knows all the locals and has a lot of respect in the community.
