Everything. The room was very clean and big, everything looks brand new. The bed is very confortable and big, the bathroom is very spacious, the facilities are great, the staff is super helpful, especially Carlos which gave us some very helpful advice on how to visit the island along with some maps. They even have an elevator(lift) even if there aren't many stairs. You don't need to stay closer to Ponta Delgada as you will mostly travel by car and from CFS Azores you are 7-10 minutes away from the city center where you can eat and do stuff if you want to. It was great altogether, I 100% recommend it and would return.

highly recommend staying at Solar de Santos André! I was lucky to stay there 4 nights (3 in the studio and 1 in the appartment), it is really a beautifull place! The house is a museum in itself, you can feel that history took place in those rooms, the 'library' is incredible and the kitchen is a dream. Eduarda will give you lots of tips and advice on the island, and if you wish she will tell you the story of the house. You trully feel at home and in a cocoon within the city. The breakfasts are awsome (thank you Maria as well :) I'll be back for sure!!

This place is like no other place. The common hall is furnished like a room in the palace of the British kingdom. A huge bedroom and private bathroom. The kitchen is equipped with everything, including fruit, and fresh cakes. I did not meet Daniel, only his mother Sally, a sympathetic and special woman who took care of every problem and the pleasant The stay in the place in an exceptional way with helpful tips.

We had an exceptional stay at Casa da Galeria. The staff were a real delight and very welcoming, the service of a palace, no less! We read that the breakfast was excellent and had high expectations that were not only met but exceded. Now let's talk about the architecture and the art, everything in every nook and corners were of such good taste, everything was pleasing to look at. If you hesitate, don't! Convenient location in São Roque, 20-30 min walk to Ponta Delgada downtown. Around 10 min walk to grocery store and some restaurants. Studio is quite small, but comfortable, very clean and well equipped. Kitchen is nice for preparing basic meals. The terrace is fantastic, overlooking the ocean and gets a lot of sun. Pool towels are great to take with you to hot springs.

The property was very easy to access from the main road around the island. Parking was available. A car is necessary but, in my opinion, a car is necessary on the island. The property had everything we needed. We were very lucky to have use of a washing machine!

This guest house was our favourite stay of the trip! The decor and maintenance of this heritage style building were perfect. The hosts were very responsive, and eager to give advice or make calls/connections for us (calling our car rental to sort out a late drop off, organizing taxis). The daily breakfast was delicious and plentiful! Would highly recommend a stay here.

The location is central, the space was large enough for all of us and fairly comfortable. The terrace is cozy. Overall, we had a good time there.
