the host was very responsive and helpful and friendly. He came to give us the keys and explained the house to us. He was always available by whatsapp during the stay for questions. He gave us a bottle of prosecco and cookies and biscuits for breakfast, very accomodating and comfortable stay :)

Host Nicole was very hospitable. She helped us to arrange for taxi transport to and from the apartment, and provided welcome drinks and snacks. She even helped with the luggages. Apartment was beautiful and clean, with bedroom on the second floor and a toilet with a view. Loved the waterfall beside the apartment, which was pleasurable.

great location once we found the easy way to bring the luggage ( take the road not steps for arrival and departure) great space, super clean, convenient to square. hostess was so sweet and helpful. we will come again. perfecto!!

Christian was a perfect host. He picked us up from the train station in his personal car with his adorable side kick Silly. He brought us through town pointing out key places as we drove by and took us straight to reception, We checked in and he offered us several suggestions for places to eat and must see sights around the lake. Christian made reservations for us for dinner for both nights we were there. Then suggested a couple of places for lunch and appertivo.

Everything was so nice. Alfina is the best host possible. She made our stay a perfect experience. Since it was our honeymoon, she even had a surprise cake (so good) and a prosecco bottle prepared for us. If that wasn't enough, she fully stocked the fridge with a lot of good food that helped us a lot for our breakfasts. The apartment is very cozy and with the perfect temperature. Since our stay was in December, with a very cold weather, we found a warm and comfortable environment for relaxing and having a good night's sleep after a day of exploring the beautiful Varenna and the other locations in Lake di Como. We highly recommend staying in I Tre Oleandri if you come to visit this beautiful part of Italy. Grazie mille, Alfina!

Mauro's Villa is close enough to the train station and town to be convenient, yet far enough to be a sanctuary from the crowds. Stunning views of the lake and Alps from the balcony and room. Delightful conversations with the hosts and a delicious breakfast. Best shower we've had all trip! Will definitely stay here again when we return.
