The Apartment is really nice, clean, well kept and looked after. Host really nice and accomodating he let us leave our luggage. Location very good literally one minute walk to the train station. Basic supermarket a few minutes walk away. Lakeside and ferry 5 minutes walk. Great base to explore Lake Como. Restaurants, bars and takeaways all in walking distance. Great to have outside space after a busy day. Varenna and Lake Como particularly nice early in a morning and on an evening. My advice if you are visiting in August get up and early before people arrive in large numbers via train from Milan.

the exterior was historically beautiful, we had both apartments 4a and b and they were great for different reasons. Both apartments were well stocked with everything we needed. Blow dryer, iron and the Owner Nicole left us a nice gift of wine and snacks. She went above and beyond to offer gluten free snacks when I mentioned I was gluten intolerant. Amazing. There were some stairs walking up to apartments and both apartments were multilevel, could be an issue for some, but not for us.

While we had many different accommodations during our recent travel to Europe this VRBO set the bar. Alfina, the host, was generous and hospitable welcoming us with such kindness assuring all our needs were met. She provided breakfast items and charcuterie meats for food during our stay in addition to thoughtful gifts (bottle of wine, pistachio cream). Secure private location with great landscaping. Layout of unit with comfortable beds and 2 baths were perfect for our family.

Mauro's Villa is close enough to the train station and town to be convenient, yet far enough to be a sanctuary from the crowds. Stunning views of the lake and Alps from the balcony and room. Delightful conversations with the hosts and a delicious breakfast. Best shower we've had all trip! Will definitely stay here again when we return.

The room was spacious and comfortable and the bathroom too. Hosts are very welcoming and helpful. Bolentino B&B is near to the port and also to the railway station. There is a fridge in the room and waterboiler together wiht tea and bottled drinks in the fridge.

Everything. The view from the balcony is surreal. Apartment is comfortable, well equipped and nicely decorated. The location is great, basically on the water with the ferry port being immediately next to it. Host was very helpfull, picked us up at the train station and let us leave our luggage.

The location is exceptional. Close to the ferry and the train station. The manager, Sina, is amazing. Always available and very helpful. The room was beautiful, clean with an amazing view. The restaurant had a lot of options for breakfast and the staff extremely pleasant, especially Valentina. Would definitely go back. Highly recommended.
