Everything. It’s a wonderful, peaceful place with a great spot to watch the sunset. The owners are also very lovely and helpful people - they recommended many things and are just really nice to chat to as well. They built the hotel themselves! Excellent, very clean and new rooms with a comfy bed and balcony.

everything! ferry drops you outside. beautiful location right on the lake. lovely staff. food is amazing and good price. shared bathroom very clean. comfy beds with duvets. free kayaks. they arrange good motorbike rental. we extended our stay by 2 days as we loved it so much. thank you Romlan!

Everything. It was a rugged location with the lake and sunset at your doorstep. You can wake up to the sound of the waves and it was quite peaceful. But perhaps the best thing about them is the hospitality, and their FOOD. I tried various different restaurants from my stay at Tuktuk and nothing came close to the food made by Hamlet and Rita at Laster Jony's. It felt like coming back home from a long day of travelling. Definitely try their veggie and cheese omelette, fried rice, and mixed fruit pancake 😍.

Manager Mr. Jae organized a car with a driver for me to see Samosir Island. Driver Mr. Rambo was also a very good driver and a guide. He was extremely cooperative. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel.

Beautiful bungalow & view, very comfortable and relaxing for a few nights. We didn't eat at the restaurant - we discovered Coffee2go and Rosalie's as per a previous review, and didn't want to eat anywhere else! Rented a good scooter here for 100k.

We felt in love with lake Toba and we were lucky to enjoy it even more at this place. If you are looking for a private, calm, chill place - yes this is it! The apartment is perfectly located in a green, hidden area in front of the lake. Every morning and evening we enjoyed beautiful views and were swimming in the lake just few steps from the apartment. Being for two months in Indonesia it was a first place with such a big space and different shells, tables, clothes hangers, tables etc The hot shower was very good. The kitchen is well equipped, there is a fridge and you can easily cook your own meals. The vegetarian/vegan restaurant that Ali has was very good too. We enjoyed delicious guacamole with sourdough bread and avocado juice. There is a big avocado tree in the garden according to one local woman Ali’s avocados are best on the island :) Ali is friendly and very helpful. We extended our stay twice :) Would love to come back !
