A clean apartment with all mod cons. The host, Manolis, did everything to make our trip as pleasant as possible. The sandy beach is just a few steps away with a nice restaurant and supermarket just nearby. We'll definitely come back.

For us it was close to the tennis courts for the tournaments my daughter was playing, it was great to be able to cook our own meals and there is a supermarket across the road. It was good value for what we needed it for and very convenient. You can see the ocean from the balcony and the pool is nice. The cleaner comes in most days and will give you clean towels every second day and change the sheets. You will need your own soap and shampoo, although there is some for the first day. Andreas is very helpful and always around if you need anything. The bus stop is near and it is very cheap to get on a bus, €3.10 to go to the main city (Heraklion) and the airport it takes about 40 min to 1hr. Don’t use the taxi’s the are very expensive and they only take cash there are no meters and they tell you a price. It’s €45 for on the airport to the apartment. There are plenty of ATM’s around. You can walk 10 minutes to a beach with sand to the right and there are plenty of shops and restaurants. The beach across the road isn’t great and no sand. When you fly in get the bus to Nana beach, cross the road and walk to the right and it’s just up past the supermarket,with the buses you put alll your luggage underneath the bus.

It most beautiful place that I was. Perfect location near all main activities, close to the beach, but remain tranquility, food was exceptional, stuff very reliable. Most cozy place that I have visited in my life. Thnx to Pavlos and Marie for our wonderful and carefree sunny days on Crete.

This apartment is so spacious and beautiful. We only stayed for 1 night. But it's very clean. And we were even able to leave our luggage until we had to leave

If you want a home away from home this is a wright property for you. Our hosts were so friendly and helpful that we could really relax on our holiday. From wery nice welcoming fruit and snacks in our room , to good advices for sightseeing, and a very tasty and plentiful breakfast and strong Greek coffee that heals your headache (trust me I am a doctor). The beach is practically a few meters away from property, and you could even hear the waves during the night if your balcony is opened. The air conditioner cools adequately, bed linen is changed every day if you wish.

I liked absolutely everything. Maria was very kind - she wrote, explained, advised, always smiling like the sun. Our room was like a work of art - bright, beautifully decorated, with thoughtful style. Everything was very clean and was cleaned every day. Everything was thought of, including the mosquito nets at the window and balcony. The sea at the door and only restaurants along the entire beach. We had very beautiful and fond memories of this place. We definitely want to come back here.

The appartment we got was exactly like the pictures. It was spacious and the terrace was quite large which we appreciated especially. The bed was very comfortable, and the cleaning service was great - we got fresh towels every other day and our sheets were changed halfway throughout our stay. The best part of our stay was definitely the kind staff and the incredibly helpful owner Cleopatra. She gave us some great recommendations on what to visit and how best to make use of our stay in Crete. If we happen to pass through Hersonissos again, we will definitely stop by to say hello!

I felt in Petra Beach hotel, like I am staying in a family operated hotel in terms of friendliness but also felt like the service of a five start hotel. I like quiet places and this hotel is centrally, but also in a unique corner that makes it quiet and somehow a little secluded. The building must be renovated very recently as it feels brand new and modern. It is very very clean and has a luxurious feel like in a top nd hotel. There is a small beach in front of the main door and the swimming pool alternative is nice and clean and excellent for evening drinks as well. Don't what else to say other than it has been one of the best stays I have done. Maybe it was a much needed holiday after a long year of work, at a magical time of the year to enjoy Crete (much better than the middle of the summer), and I am confident that I will be coming again here next year!
