We loved the location! This is a spacious property with excellent privacy. Lying in your hammock enjoying the harbor view is very relaxing. It's within walking distance to town and to playa Mann. We walked everywhere. It's a quiet paradise for any couple or small family.

We just loved the vibe of the place and the view of the ocean in a distance. It is a little bit of a walk from town but cabs are reasonably priced to make the way back home. The rooms are up on the third floor - great view but you need to walk up the stairs to get to your room.

I wasn't sure what to expect, but I really enjoyed my stay at Casa Arvakeni! Vanessa and her beautiful family are such marvelous hosts, they were always very communicative and as soon as I arrived they sat down with me, showed me a map of San Cristóbal, and told me all about great local spots for hiking and snorkeling! I really appreciated the comfortable room and bathroom to myself in a quiet part of town with decent Wifi, hot shower, and access to the family kitchen. Like all Galapagos, it is very safe and laid back here. Everything is within walking distance in Puerto Banquerizo: the house is just ten minutes from the dock, twenty-five minutes to the airport, and a twenty minute jaunt to lovely Punta Carola... Or walk just a little further and bingo: the Ensenada del Cerro de las Tijeretas is the perfect spot to see undersea life. Or you can cross town and head forty minutes in the other direction to Playa Loberia, where the snorkeling is also excellent. I am very grateful to Vanessa and her family, they are such welcoming and knowledgeable hosts! An excellent choice for any budget traveler who wants to support local folks, prepare their own meals and rest easy in this beautiful, enchanted paradise!

Charming building in great location (walking distance to Playa Mann, Interpretation Centre, and the city centre). Host and staff are very friendly, and provided almost instant answers to all questions through WhatsApp. All rooms have fans. Hot water in the shower. Nice, well-equipped kitchen. Felt very safe staying here.

Good communication. Juan (the owner) lives and works in the building so he's easily available for any needs. Large one bedroom apartment, great Air Conditioning, spotless.

We liked the location, just far enough from the center to be a bit more quiet but close enough to walk. All rental staff were amazing and attentive throughout the whole process. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and the beds were super comfy.

I felt very welcome as the whole family were waiting for me in the docks when I arrived. Anita and Daniel were great and super helpful during my stay, helping me to book tours etc. The apartment is very spacious and clean, with a good kitchen. The location is quiet, although there is a short walk to the town.
