Fantastic cooked breakfast, you won’t be hungry when you leave the breakfast room! The location by the bay is very good, with a pub just next door and two restaurants not far.

When I left my car at the distillery for tasting, he drove me to pick it up the next day, saving me 30mins of walking. Really appreciate his help :) Also the breakfast is awesome

On Islay’s famous Whisky Coast, in the fishing village of Port Ellen, overlooking the harbour and marina and just 2 hours by ferry from Kennacraig on the Scottish mainland, The Islay Hotel offers a... Excellent location. Staff was fabulous and helpful, meals we exceptional…. Definitely stay here again… just loved it

Everything was amazing! The room was clean, comfortable, and had a great view. Myra, our host for our stay, was incredibly friendly and went out of her way to make sure we had a great time on Islay, answering our questions and providing helpful tips. The location was great, being a short walk to three distilleries and a short bus ride to Bowmore. Wonderful visit and we can't wait to return!
